Download YouTube on iPhone (Safari)
iPhone does not need a sideloaded “downloader app” for this workflow. You copy the link from YouTube (or YouTube Music), paste it in Safari on this site, then save the prepared file to Downloads / Files.
Steps (YouTube app → Safari)
- Open the video, Short, or Music track in the official app.
- Tap Share → Copy link.
- Open Safari and go to YT Video Downloader (or a specialist tool below).
- Paste the link, confirm the preview, choose MP4 or MP3.
- When the file is ready, download it. In Safari: Downloads icon, then move to Files if you want it in a folder.
